Framous Looks To Save Time For Graphic Designers

A new Mac app called Framous has launched, giving you the ability to add device frames around screenshots to make them look more professional. The helpful new tool can aid app developers, graphic designers, and even journalists who need to add an iPhone or Mac frame — also known as a mockup or template — to photos. This can be particularly useful for creating App Store screenshots, landing pages, and header images for articles. The app was created by Dark Noise app developer Charlie Chapman, who needed a fast and easy way to add device frames around screenshots. Traditionally, many users relied on time-consuming methods, such as seeking out templates online and manually placing their screenshots. While similar apps and services exist, such as iFrames (a Safari extension) or SMPRO (an iOS app), we noticed there’s a lack of dedicated solutions for Mac users. Framous aims to be more efficient than other options, as it only requires users to either drag and drop or copy and paste their screenshots into the app, which then automatically places them in device frames.
