Microsoft has developed a new language learning tool that uses the smartphone camera to help adults improve their English literacy by learning the words for the things around them. The app allows you to take a picture of an item to then be identified by Microsoft’s custom built library which includes over 1,500 words. The app was primarily built to help to individuals learning a new language and also supplement traditional classroom learning. Users will also have the ability to add words to the library which will ultimately improve the app’s accuracy and broaden use amongst its users.
