Hugo Closes Seed Round

The popularity of efficient workplace software has continued to gain traction and has had an incredible year thus far. Venture capital firms and investors have taken notice as a large amount of these startups have closed on capital rounds in the past month. The most recent is mobile app Hugo, which closed a $6 million round with Gradient Ventures. The startup is a collaborative note-taking app which focuses on sharing meeting notes with various teams within a company. Hugo’s software looks to highlight and ensure that important files and notes within certain Google Docs aren’t lost within the cloud and are rather shared collaboratively.
