Samsung Galaxy S10’s Hole-Punch Camera Design Leaked

Last week an alleged photo of Samsung’s highly-anticipated Galaxy S10 surfaced on Twitter via the notorious smartphone gossiper, Evan Blass.

Though much of the photo is blurred out, it reveals a key aspect of the phone’s front-facing design. Instead of adding a notch to the top of the screen like Apple and Google’s latest smartphones, Samsung has seemingly opted for a hole-punch camera. This is similar to the hole-punch camera design Huawei announced for its Nova 4 smartphone back in December.

The model depicted in the leaked image is rumored to be the “Beyond 1” or flagship version of the phone. In addition, “Beyond 0” is expected to be the economy version of the phone and “Beyond 2” the Samsung S10 Plus.

Blass also suggests that the Galaxy S10 will be able to wirelessly charge other devices and wearables, such as smartwatches and wireless earbuds.
