Mira Raises Further Funding

Mira has recently announced that they’ve raised roughly $10 million in funding which was led by Sequoia and Happiness Ventures. This AR focused startup builds and sells augmented reality hardware devices. They’ve also recently mentioned their products will be focused on the industrial landscape as opposed to the general consumer. Mira came to this decision based on the value that their hardware can provide and impact that they can make. Their Prism Pro hardware device allows users to connect even older generation iPhones to their head-mounted camera. Although the product has a low ceiling for new features and capabilities, it’s extremely easy to use and has been made simple enough for users to get comfortable with the idea of an AR headset in the industrial workspace. How long do you think it will take for general consumers to begin using AR in their everyday lives? Let us know on all our social platforms today!
