Hinge Introduces New AI Feature

Hinge has launched a new AI-powered feature called “Prompt Feedback,” which aims to improve your dating profile by analyzing how you answer prompts and assessing if it needs to be more specific or authentic. Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini, Prompt Feedback evaluates each response and offers personalized advice tailored to help you share interesting details about yourself, which can lead to more engaging conversations. Instead of telling you exactly what to write, however, the AI offers three levels of guidance: “Go a Little Deeper,” “Try a Small Change,” and “Great Answer.” The “Great Answer” rating tells you to keep your response as is, while the other levels provide more specific suggestions, such as, “Try adding a specific genre or favorite artist to show more personality.”
