Instagram is still figuring out the kinks to its newest product, IGTV. The CEO of Instagram has said its a process that’s going to take time for its users to learn to adopt as they’ve been fairly quiet on the features success. The app has reportedly ranked as high as #25 in the US App Store and has garnered over 2.5 million downloads on both the iOS and Android platforms. Unfortunately, those numbers are nowhere near what they are today as they’re at 70,000 weekly installs which is quite nerve-racking considering their main competitor is YouTube. Main adopters that launched their own videos on IGTV during the companies launch haven’t seen much growth either as their numbers have been either steady or stagnant. Will IGTV be able to recover and rise or will the app eventually close their doors to the public?
