Samsung unveiled a prototype device today that could potentially change the landscape of the smartphone industry. The new product is called “Infinity Flex Display” which is essentially a smartphone that can fold in half. When unfolded, the device displays a massive 7.3 inch display with multiple apps running on the same screen concurrently. Now although the prototype was presented to the world today to see, the practicality of the device being sold to the market anytime soon seems slim. There will be large software issues to tackle such as the possibility of having multiple apps run seamlessly on the device while ensuring the apps image quality and functionality are up to par.
