Instacart has announced that it is adding additional jobs to help support its shoppers, customers and retail partners as demand for the grocery delivery service has skyrocketed recently. Instacart will be doubling its support team from 1,200 agents to 3,000 as they’ll be answering questions on how Instacart works, delivery issues, address mishaps and other issues. Demand for the service has increased over 300% respectively to last years total numbers. In just a two week span, the Instacart community grew by over 150,000 users. Instacart is also looking to unveil new features and functionality for its mobile platform which will focus on contactless drop-offs with delivery windows.
