During this pandemic, we’ve seen different industries and companies see an uptick in traffic and popularity given the limited access to a majority of businesses. One of which includes esports which gamers have been bringing in record number views and traffic. Sleeper, a sports fantasy mobile app, has recently made known their ambitions to reach into the esports industry. The app closed a Series B funding round led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. A few high profile athletes including Kevin Durant, Baron Davis, JuJu Smith-Schuster have also recently invested into the mobile app sports startup.
