Google has recently announced that they will be making updates to their iOS Maps application which will allow users to send them manual reports. Reports will include accidents, traffic and speed traps. Android users will have limited access to sending reports, but nevertheless, the update looks to push the Maps application in a direction that will combine both technology and user-based feedback. Their update also looks to take aim at one of their main competitors, Waze, who has brought a large popularity to a navigational experience based primarily by community feedback. Do you see Waze posing as a potential threat to Google Maps? Or do you believe Google will eventually run Waze off the course of the map? Let us know your thoughts on our social channels!
